ERIC SOON BOON TECK

Eric heads the litigation department of the firm. He graduated with an Honours degree in Law from University of Leicester, United Kingdom and is a Barrister-at-Law of Lincoln’s Inn, London.

He was called to the Malaysian Bar in 1995 and is an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya.

Eric handles cases in the High Court, Court of Appeal and Federal Court. His areas of practice are banking, construction, tenancy (commercial and residential), employment, contract and commercial law. He oversees the other practice areas of the firm which include arbitration and alternative dispute resolution, probate and administration, matrimonial and general debt recovery.

GAN WEE HOWE

Wee Howe graduated from Monash University, Australia with bachelor degrees in Science and Law in 1991 and 1992 respectively. He was admitted as a Barrister & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria, Federal Court and High Court of Australia and practiced as a solicitor in Melbourne prior to being admitted to practice as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya.

He oversees the conveyancing, banking and intellectual property department and also handles legal matters related to event management and entertainment industries.

Wee Howe is able to converse in Hokkien, Cantonese and Mandarin.

DION KOR SHIANG HUA

Mr. Dion Kor read law at University of Manchester, United Kingdom and graduated with an Honours degree in Law and Accounting. He went on to become a Barrister-at-Law of Middle Temple, London. Mr. Dion Kor is also an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya.

Mr. Dion Kor handles legal matters dealing with collective investment schemes and has been involved in such work since the inception of the Securities Commission (Unit Trust Scheme) Regulations 1996. He has acted for numerous leading fund managers in Malaysia having advised in mergers of fund managers and collective investment scheme, the setting up and termination of collective investment schemes and the setting up of private retirement schemes and an authorized ASEAN Collective Investment Scheme in Malaysia.

Mr. Dion Kor also provides general advice and work for fund managers in other areas of the law which has included advising on agency or distributor related matters or dispute, drafting of software, maintenance and supply contracts for the information technology department, drafting or advising on International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) agreements, distribution agreements, investment management agreements and custodian agreements.
